Musandam is a peninsula of the Sultanate of Oman, separated from the rest of the country by the United Arab Emirates. Its mountains plunge straight into the Strait of Hormuz and form deep inlets, often called the “fjords of Arabia”. It is an ideal place for sea kayaking and for sailing aboard a traditional dhow.
